Cyan Technology has donated 100 embedded microcontroller development boards to help teach embedded design to undergraduates studying in the University of Essex’s Department of Computer Science.
“Cyan is committed to forging closer links with universities and helping to create capable engineers for the future. The University of Essex is a great place to kick this off,” said Paul Johnson, Cyan’s ceo. “Better links between universities, the students and businesses can only have a positive effect on educational standards and talent entering the industry. The eCOG1 microcontroller development kits we've donated will play a valuable role in helping both undergraduate and MSc students to learn about developing applications and programming target devices, standing them in good stead for their future careers.”
