Tek launches real time spectrum analysers 06/09/2006

rf & microwave Tektronix has launched the RSA6100A series of real time spectrum analysers to meet measurement needs in rf applications ranging from radar to cognitive radio.
The devices are said to provide ‘unmatched’ real time performance, capture bandwidth and dynamic range.
The first members of the range to be announced are the 6.2GHGz RSA6106A and the 14GHz RSA6114A. Both have a real time bandwidth of 110MHz and a spurious free dynamic range of 73dB.
All models feature the company’s DPX waveform image processor technology, which displays the live spectrum by processing more than 48,000 spectrum measurements per second. To achieve this level of performance, DPX uses dedicated, real time hardware to process the incoming signal, providing users with a live rf signal view.
