When JCB attempts to set a new land speed record for a diesel powered vehicle at the Bonneville salt flats in August, monitoring and control of the suspension system will be down to Variohm-Eurosensor’s ELP position transducers. Though used in F1, the ELPs will experience the most shock and vibration yet; Dieselmax travels at 300mph, powered by two 1500bhp engines.
