A European physical implementation ic design house has been presented with the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category by the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire, Mary Bayliss.
Theale based Sondrel was established in 2002 and now across Europe, Israel and China and has worked with technology companies in fields such as dsp, networking, video processing, mobile phones and gps receivers, completing over 140 designs from 0.18µm down to 40nm.
Sondrel's ceo, Graham Curren, said: "The award recognises the success of our flexible design approach. Using methodologies, processes and software which we have developed here at Sondrel, we can accurately manage project costs and durations, switching between third party tools for optimum results and incorporating debug and management facilities for efficient implementation. We are honoured to receive this wonderful award from the Queen's representative."
