Adlink Technology has announced the availability of the cPCI-3965 and cPCI-6965 series of CompactPCI processor blades in 3U and 6U heights respectively.

Both low power blades support integrated graphics with 3D graphics engine and dual independent VGA/DVI ports, making them suitable for factory automation, transportation, and medical applications.
The cPCI-3965 and cPCI-6965 feature the Mobile Intel GME965 Express chipset, low power Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz, and up to 4GB dual channel capable DDR2 ram. They are said to provide up to QXGA (2048x1536) resolution and 3Gbps Serial ATA (SATA) bandwidth. According to Adlink, the cPCI-3965 and cPCI-6965 enable 'greater graphics performance' with the integrated Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 and its 32bit 3D graphics engine with Microsoft DirectX 9 and SGI OpenGL1.5 support. The company says they provide dual independent displays through VGA and DVI ports on the cPCI-3965 and two DVI ports on the front panel of the cPCI-6965.
Both products have a reserved space for a 2.5" SATA hard drive mounted onboard and additional SATA signal connectors for external drives. Both blades are also said to provide a true IDE interface CompactFlash socket for mission critical embedded applications. The cPCI-6965 supports one PMC slot for additional I/O on the front panel. Rear Transition Modules are available for the cPCI-3965 & cPCI-6965 Series to provide further I/O expansion.
The cPCI-3965 and cPCI-6965 Series support Microsoft Windows XP Professional, Microsoft Windows Vista Enterprise and Fedora Core 7.
