The P4ELA from BVM is an SBC conforming to the Micro ATX 244 x 244mm form factor. It is suitable for high performance systems in industrial, gaming, digital surveillance and network security applications that require fast processing and graphics capability.
The board uses the Intel Q45 + ICH10D0 Express chipset and supports Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo and Celeron processors conforming to the LGA775 pin-out, with a FSB up to 1333MHz. The built in Intel Graphics Accelerator 4500 supports Microsoft DirectX 10 and OpenGL to give 2D and 3D rendering.
The interface capability of 1 x ISA, 2 x PCI Slots, 1 x mini PCI socket, 1 x PCI-e 16X and 1 x PCI-e 4X are designed to offer flexibility to system designers when deciding on mass storage and peripheral interfaces. In addition, 8 x USB2.0 ports, 5 x RS232, 1 x RS232/422/485 port and 2 x GigaLAN ports are provided. There are also 6 x SATA interfaces supporting RAID and Intel MST. An onboard 8bit programmable GPIO interface and a 256 level watchdog timer are provided for system management purposes.
