11/05/2009 Email to a friend

Sonics has announced SNAP – the Sonics Network for AMBA Protocol. The product is described as a cost effective solution designed to simplify on chip bus design in complex embedded SoCs.

Interconnect is a SNAPSNAP addresses complexity by turning multiple core interconnections into a customised IP block, reducing design effort. It also improves the overall data flow in the systems, boosting bus performance and eliminating memory bottlenecks.
According to Sonics, SNAP is suited to embedded wireless, home networking and automotive applications.
