The electronics controlling the Ducati Monster 696 bike features a Freescale microcontroller.
Developed by Synerject, the electronic control unit is based around the Freescale S12X 16bit mcu as well as its MEMS based pressure sensors. With the ecu, the bike boasts 9% more power than its predecessor and an 11% increase in torque.
