NV memory added to PSoC 22/09/2008

mixed signal array Cypress has added non volatile memory to its PSoC mixed signal array. PSoC NV will provide secure data logging features for use in the computing, networking, automotive and industrial markets.
PSoC NVs are available with 64, 128 or 256kbyte of nvsram, with a throughput of up to 100kbit/s. As well as an M8C based core running at up to 24MHz, the parts have 32kbyte of flash and 2kbyte of sram.
Handling up to eight analogue inputs, PSoC NVs store data in nvsram. Regular operating accesses are directed to an sram array and secured automatically in a non volatile quantum trap cell in case of power failure.
