a/d converters , sigma-delta a/d converter , on chip programmable gain amplifier (PGA) , Successive approximation register (SAR) The ability to process information at higher speeds while preserving data integrity is a key requirement in today’s most advanced industrial and medical systems. Two recent announcements by Analog Devices emphasize the growing trend towards a/d converters that achieve increased output data rates without sacrificing resolution. The breakthrough AD7190 24bit sigma-delta a/d converter and AD7626 16bit PulSAR successive approximation a/d converter deliver what is believed to be an unequalled combination of speed and precision.
