XJTAG appoints distributor to target EDA channel 02/07/2008

Boundary scan systems, High pin count digital devices, Debugging, BGAs XJTAG has appointed Cadence channel partner, Parallel Systems as a distributor to sell its XJTAG system into the EDA channel in the UK and Ireland.
Parallel Systems will be selling the XJTAG system into its established base of pcb system houses and silicon developers, particularly targeting designers using high pin count digital devices in their products and those developing mixed signal designs.
“We are delighted to be partnering with Parallel Systems as it will enable us to get the XJTAG system in front of the EDA community,” claimed XJTAG’s ceo, Simon Payne. “Through Parallel Systems, developers will get to see the significant benefits of using the XJTAG system right at the very beginning of the design process to improve their designs, reduce re-spins and maximise test coverage.”
XJTAG’s system is said to complement Parallel Systems’ design solutions as it can be used in tandem with EDA products to further reduce the cost and shorten the development cycle of electronic products.
