04/06/2008 Email to a friend

TTI and Tyco Electronics have entered an exclusive partnership covering distribution of connectors in the aerospace, defence and marine markets. The agreement will strengthen Tyco’s presence in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

“We are looking forward to extending our successful relationship with TTI into the aerospace, defence and marine sector,” said Jan van den Boom, general manager of Tyco’s Aerospace, Defence and Marine business unit.
TTI is already a preferred distributor of Tyco Electronics with a strong global presence. The company constantly proves that it actively promotes Tyco Electronics’ product portfolio, with a special emphasis being made on demand creation and the generation of new business. Thanks to TTI’s committed Military, Aero and Space team focussing on the markets in question, Tyco Electronics expects a significant boost in activities soon.
Ros Kruger, TTI’s military, aero and space marketing director, added: “We are very excited about this new market initiative with Tyco Electronics. It will complement our successful passive business within the European military, aero and Space markets, offering a complete solution to our customer base through dedicated resources.”
