Seeing through walls 21/04/2008

through wall radar Cambridge Consultants has developed a remote laptop application for its prism 200 through wall radar system. The application will enable remote monitoring and data recording, requiring only an operative or robot to deploy the sensor. According to the company, the development will improve safety and discretion in surveillance exercises.
The device communicates using TCP/IP, enabling a remote computer to be linked via a network cable or wireless link. The 3d information generated can then be reviewed from a safer location by user.
The laptop application also provides new methods of display, with the capability to track the movements of suspects historically as they move around a room and it can provide further intelligence on the situation in the room.
