Microchip appoints Triteq as medical specialist 04/03/2008
 
Triteq has been appointed Microchip’s first Medical Design Partner Specialist within the UK and Europe. The appointment is part of Microchip’s move to strengthen its design partner network.
According to Microchip, apart from adding medical specialists to its worldwide Design Partner Program to promote best practices in medical device design, it will also make it easier for medical device manufacturers to connect with design specialists around the world.
Steve Kennelly, senior manager of Microchip’s Medical Products Group, said: “Triteq’s knowledge and experience in medical electronics is expected to help Microchip’s customers realise lower design risk, faster time to market and smoother compliance with international regulations, such as European CE marking.”
Steve Lane, Triteq’s commercial director, added: “Being Microchip’s first European Medical Design Partner Specialist is of utmost importance to us and we look forward to working closer with Microchip to continue with our medical design innovations.”
