COM Express board features Menlow 03/03/2008

COM Express Said to be the first COM Express module to feature Intel’s Menlow processor, conga-CMEN is said to enable small solutions with improved battery run time.
Connectivity options provided with the board include two PCI Express lanes, two serial ATA interfaces and a gigabit Ethernet port. Up to eight USB sockets are available and the device also boasts two SD I/O sockets. Its integrated graphics system supports the Embedded Panel Interface standard, allowing almost any flat panel display to be identified automatically.
Meanwhile, the Intel Menlow platform – which combines the Silverthorne processor and the Poulsbo chipset – is said to consume just 10% of the power drawn by other single core platforms.
