automotive components Car drivers have always been required to absorb large quantities of visual information – from the road ahead, rear view mirrors and vehicle instrumentation. Delivering some of this data using electronic techniques allows car makers to add value to this information and promote safer driving.
Now, passengers are demanding improvements in entertainment and communications. To meet these demands, car designers are adopting the latest multimedia data standards. The crucial requirement is these must withstand the rigours of the automotive environment.
