VMETRO systems to fly high 05/10/2007
 
data recorders, solid state VMETRO subsidiary VSYSTEMS Electronic is to supply integrated real time solid state data recorder systems worth more than €2million to EADS Deutschland. The systems will be used in the Euro Hawk programme.
“We will deliver an application specific recorder system tailored to EADS’ demanding project requirements and are pleased we were chosen for this important program,” says Stephan Troesch, general manager of VSYSTEMS Electronic.
Dietmar Blaser, EADS’ chief engineer for the Euro Hawk programme, noted: “We selected VMETRO for this program as we are convinced it will be able to deliver a multichannel recorder and playback system customised to our needs and that the system will be compliant with our requirements for this high altitude and space constraint application.”
