Latest Audi uses Blackfin and SHARC processors 04/09/2007
 
in car audio Audi is using Analog Devices’ Blackfin and SHARC processors in its new A5 Coupé. The A5 includes the Symphony and Concert advanced digital radios, a Digital Audio Broadcast option, a six CD changer and a MultiMedia Device Interface for connecting to personal media players.
Peter Kohlschmidt, Audi;s Director Wireless, Acoustics, Connectivity, said: “Blackfin, in conjunction with additional ADI technologies, gave us competitive and distinguishing features that differentiate our new vehicle, enhance our brand positioning, and reflect our relentless pursuit of the perfect driving experience.”
