Whole vehicle test accreditation

3C Test has been granted VCA Technical Service status and UKAS accreditation for whole vehicle testing.
The company’s 10m semi anechoic chamber, located at the Silverstone circuit, can accommodate large and heavy vehicles, as well as standard passenger vehicles. The chamber enables emc emissions and immunity testing, eliminating the need to move the vehicle.
According to the company, it can now offer whole vehicle and subsystem emc testing to: 2004/104/EC, as amended by 2005/83/EC and 2006/28/EC; 97/24/EC; BS EN 13309; ISO 13766; and BS EN ISO 14982.
The chamber measures 18.2 x 12.7 x 8.1m and has 4 x 4m doors. Included is a 4m diameter turntable.
